El Clasico Puts Madrid Clear Ahead

HALA MADRID! The ref just whistled full time a few minutes ago with Real Madrid beating Barcelona 2-1. I am personally a Real Madrid fan and if you are too, you'll understand how much this means. Sami Khedira put Madrid ahead after 17 minutes and Ronaldo with his second goal in the 73rd minute. That puts Madrid ahead with 7 clear points.

Although that's only their second win in 11 games against Barcelona. Despite some painful memories of the same fixture last season, Mourinho fielded the identical front six that were subjected to a savage 5-0 defeat in November 2010 with Xabi Alonso and Khedira forming a two-man screen to combat Barcelona's attack. However, the contrast in performance could hardly have been more marked.

Madrid closed out the game ending Barca's 54-game unbeaten home record in all competitions and all but ensuring that the title will be returning to the capital for the first time since 2008. Let us know your opinions whether you are a Barca or Madrid fan.

Top 5 Footballer's Cars

This article features the footballers with the best cars. We're going to look at the top 5 starting with the most money spent on cars first.

Steven Gerrard

The man who has helped Liverpool out of so many sticky situations is doing his best to help the UK new car market too. Steven Gerrard – the Champions League-winning attacking midfielder – has owned a Porsche 911 Turbo, Mercedes SLK, Aston Martin Vanquish, BMW X5 and Bentley Continental.
Money spent:  £530,000

John Terry

Chelsea and England captain John Terry isn’t afraid spend some cash. He’s owned a £130,000 Ferrari F430 Spider, Range Rover Sport, BMW X5, Porsche 911 Turbo and a Bentley Continental.
Money spent: £450,000 +

Frank Lampard

Chelsea’s high scoring midfielder has a thing for luxury cars. Over the past couple of years the England international has had a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti and Aston Martin DB9.
The Ferrari 612 is a £182,000 four-seat beast with a top speed of 199mph, while the £110,000 DB9 will top out at 186mph. Lampard bucks the BMW X5 trend, opting for a £75,000 Mercedes ML63 AMG 4x4 instead – an off-roader which hits 60mph from standing in five seconds.
Money spent:  £375,000 +

Michael Owen

Liverpool’s past hero and international football star Michael Owen owns a cool collection of cars, including a Jaguar X-type (above), Range Rover V8 Vogue and a Chrysler Voyager.
To top off his collection, an Aston Martin DB7 Vanquish sits outside the Newcastle striker’s home.
Money spent: £300,000 +

Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo is arguably the world’s best footballer, so seemingly he's after the world's ultimate car - the 253mph Bugatti Veyron. Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo raced a Veyron in a recent commercial – and has now got his name down on the list for the £830,000 hypercar.
He owns an Audi R8 supercar, which will only manage 187mph. Ronaldo has also counted a BMW X5 and Ferrari 360 among his cars.
Money spent:  £250,000 + (+ £830,000 for the Bugatti)

Beckham's $27,000,000 Summer House

David Beckham and his family will be renting this 10,000- square-foot Mabilu Mansion valued at $27,000,000. Beckham will be renting it for $158,753 per month. Accourding to real estate agents its worth every penny as it has breathtsking ocean, island and sunset views. It is also said that Gray Whales come up on shore as they roam around the ocean.

Christiano and Irina

Russian model Irina Shayk and Real Madrid ace Christiano Ronaldo who have been dating for almost 2 years, are enjoying a romantic holiday in Mexico. The couple are seen around frequently and seem like a good match. Irina and Christiano are both busy but the manage to make time to take a break and go spend some quality time together.

2 Home Wins- Arsenal & Man Utd.

Manchester United played a game in the Premier league earlier today against Queens at Old Trafford beating them 2-0. Rooney scored the first goal and Scholes scored the second. They really benefited from a huge error by ref. Lee Mason that carried them eight points clear.

Another home win by Arsenal against Manchester City with Arteta scoring the only goal in the game in 87'. The young man got very lucky as he managed to get his team three points in the last few minutes of the game. The result leaves Roberto Mancini's side eight points behind leaders Manchester United with only six league games remaining after Sir Alex Ferguson's side enjoyed a comfortable 2-0 win over 10-man Queens Park Rangers at Old Trafford earlier in the day.

Arsenal Shocking Results

Arsenal's seven-game winning streak in the Premier League was brought to an unexpected halt by QPR in a 2-1 defeat at Loftus Road. This comes as a great shock to most of us, if not all!
It was little surprise, then, when Arsenal drew level on 37 minutes. Van Persie did excellently to drive into the box and play Walcott in with a cute short pass, and after striking the base of the post the winger reacted quicker than a stationary QPR defence to volley the rebound home with his instep.

Wenger was not happy with the results and made that very clear, if you watched the match you will know what I am talking about! Many fans out there are still in shock from the results, and can only hope for them to get back on their saddle right away.

Champions League Highlights

Real Madrid Vs. APOEL Nicosla

7' Ronaldo shoots from an outrageous position out wide on the left wing.... And it flies wide of the left hand post.
16' CHANCE! Fabio Coentrao burst into the box, but lost his composure and miscued his shot wide of the post.
33' CHANCE! Incredible miss from Benzema. One of the misses of the season surely? Ronaldo did brilliantly to find Nuri Sahin inside the box and the Turkish midfielder put the ball on a plate for Benzema with the goal gapping, but the Frenchman contrived to miss.

Chelsea Vs. Benfica

18' Great little bit of footwork from Gaitan as he collects the ball in midfield and jinks past a few challenges. The only way to stop him? Foul him. Meireles picks up a booking for it.
25' Ferreira wins a free-kick on the right out of Cesar. Handball, and he's rightly booked.
31' Great composure from Luiz to juggle the ball and clear inside his own area as Pereira dinks a dangerous ball in.
40' SAVE FROM ARTUR! Meireles fires off a low bullet of a shot from the edge of the area which the 'keeper gets down low to his left to palm behind. Great build-up play involving Torres and Kalou.

Man Utd. Beats Fulham 1-0

As many of us were expecting, Man U beat Fulham with a score of 1-0. Wayne Rooney scored the only goal in the game late in the first half. Those who suggested Man U would win, congrats! You were right.

That puts Man U back to the top of the premier league.
Here are the game's statistics.

Discussions- Man Utd Vs Fulham

I personally think that Man Utd have a good chance tonight and hopefully scoring a few goals. They have got the experience and the players to win this game and that gives them an advantage over Fulham.

Let us know what you think about tonights game, post a few comments telling us your opinion.

MANAGER QUOTES
Sir Alex Ferguson: "Every game is a must-win game. Hopefully we can keep the momentum going. It's funny how when you come to the crucial part of the season, everyone tends to get fit again. We are delighted with that. It does help your cause without question having a full squad. It gives me variety. You have to congratulate the players on achieving the position they are in because of the injuries."

Murinho and Khedira Press Conference

José Mourinho and Sami Khedira at the Madrid's press conference. With defensive midfielder Xabi Alonso suspended for the encounter against APOEL, Spanish daily AS says the visitors are likely to opt for Esteban Granero to partner Khedira in midfield which would be the first time this season the pair have started a game together. The nine-time European champions arrived at Larnaca International Airport in good spirits last night following a four-and-a-half hour flight. Along with Alonso, the injured Ángel Di María, Ricardo Carvalho, Lassana Diarra and José Callejón failed to make the trip.
